Is this letter the "hard evidence" everyone was looking for in order to start impeachment ?
I have my doubts that this letter is going to do any good connecting Trump to the Russians.
Obstruction of Justice charges can be brought against Trump regardless. Just like money laundering and IRS related charges can apply. Doesn't have to be any Russia proof related to Trump for him to be impeached and removed from office for the other stuff. Although they likely will have ties to Russia as well. They'll probably have several charges against Trump when the investigation is over. Wonder if he will resign before then and blame the press.

You obviously weren't around during the Ken Starr years, were you? That's exactly what he did--he started investigating Clinton for Whitewater and years (and about $75 million) later he finally caught Bill in an Oval Office liaison. Boy, did he ever have to work long and hard to find something to impeach Clinton on, and in the end all he could find was a lie about an affair.
Crooked Donnie, on the other hand, has real crimes to investigate.

Rosenstein was also trump's pick. He came up with the scope of the investigation. Mueller has pretty broad authority.
If trump hadn't fired Comey, this would probably never have happened.

It's funny that you think one thing stopped and another started. That's not how news cycles work. Things cycle in and out of the news depending on events. It's much more dynamic and unpredictable than you probably think it is (I'm sure you think there is some guy pulling strings in the cloud (Soros?)), but that is not how reality works.

Do you think it is just a coincidence that after Charlottesville faded away, Antifas violence being proven through video evidence, and Trump is getting mostly praise for his handling of Hurricane Harvey that this Russia stuff suddenly pops back up again? I think not

Did you not know that Mueller's investigation has been ongoing through all of that? It's funny because just a few weeks ago there were a few threads here complaining that there was no news on this front, so that must mean they weren't finding anything. Then something surfaces and they complain that it's in the news again.
You should take a few deep breaths and calm down, because this is going to continue to be in the news for a long time to come. Not every day, not every week, but it's ongoing, so there will be occasional stories about it until Mueller finishes his investigation.
And that may only be the end of the beginning.
