Even "really smart" guys are wrong sometimes. He is dead wrong on DACA. Even trump GOP supporters are now saying DACA should stay and be codified by Congress.
DACA needs to go. I'll never support anyone from profiting off of an immoral act. That's what progressives do.
Until things like everify are mandatory this won't do a lot. DACAers will keep working with their issued SS's until caught and deported. If they keep their noses clean that could be many many years for some
Don't forget - the Dreamers plan to bring their illegal parents, et al. into the country once they become legal citizens... chain migration at its finest. The parents are responsible, not Trump, not ICE, nor our immigration laws already on the books. Let's put the blame where it belongs.
What other country has a Dream Act equivalent? Why are the American taxpayers on the hook? American kids should be Number One, not the Dreamers. Zuckerberg and his ilk should keep out of this... the laws take precedence over the SV billionaires' lobbying.
Since they are so dang bright and valuable, the Dreamers should go back to their parents' countries with all the knowledge they have gained here to make those countries more attractive and successful.
Mexico and South America need to get rid of the drug lords and gangbangers and crooked government officials, as well as take responsibility for their own citizens. We cannot solve the world's problems alone.

Bongino is right. (He is a smart guy, and I try to listen to him every chance I get. He had served under three administrations, he knows how Washington works from the inside)
The right believes in the rule of law, the left doesn't. They are here illegally and they need to go. If they want to come back then they need to come back as legal immigrants. I do feel bad for them, but, it was their parents that put them in this situation, not the American public.

We discussed this at a street party/cook-out of around 35 people. Not one person supports it, so I don't know where you get that. The media is lying to you.
Not legally, but they've already demonstrated how little respect they have for US law.
Considering the entire illegal demographic in the USA is less than 3% of the population and perhaps 1% actually went out and voted illegally im not seeing where the illegal immigrant vote is really meaningful in the outcome of a presidential election.

And that's why convicted criminals are let go?
