Sometimes I wonder, how come the most powerful nation has elected such
pathetic leaders since WWII; first Eisenhower good soldier, however no personality, no plan or ideas, result: a forgettable period in our history, then
Nixon Crooked, cheater, liar, result:fiasco, then Reagan, Dementia since day
one, completely out of touch with reality, result: huge deficits, social chaos
and despair, then Bush I, not so bad however his vice-president iliterate, national joke and international embarassment,result: staus quo, then who
else? Bush II, La creme de la creme the stupidest politician in history, result:
loss of respect and empathy for the U.S.around the world, recession, war.

The common denominator??? REPUBLICANS!!!,But how do they do it?
Answer: the best propaganda machine imaginable.Able to spy, intimidate,
create alternate realities, and convince their follower, remember demographics are ever growing against them, over 35% of the citizens are of ethnic minorities, overwhelmingly anti-republican, and they still manage to win, in 2004 they turned a known war hero; Kerry into the antithesis of
an American, while making GW Bush, a deserter,coward, alcoholic look like the perfect GI JOE.

Now in 2008 in view of the almost certain win by Hillary, they started hinting
that they wanted to run against her, "sure" that they would beat her up, the
democratic side has seen a big twist with Obama winning a lot of states, now
they are campaining agaist OSAMA IN order to prolong the struggle between democrats, and whoever gets the nomination, will be in a divided situation
giving an edge to Mccain, they are also trying to use the immigration issue as the new republican sacred grail, they have all the red necks and extremists groups up in arms. We'll see what happens.

How about carter and the 70's recession that was really bad. Other than that the democrats had no real candidate that didn't just blow a lead other than clinton. Eisenhower was a very good presdient and america came to be a major power under him and created the interstate hwy system.reagan was one of the great presidents if you look at what he accomplished.Clinton had a attack on twin tower and numerous attacks on US interest around the wrold besides the somilia thing where we turned;ran and left it the same.I think the democratic primary is a mess becuase of the democrats ;they always seem to come apart and now they have turned on each other worse than I have ever seen. It's a vast democratic conspiracy maybe?Always a excuse.

Honestly, I didn't think of J.Kerry as a great hero, and in fact I think his personality had much to desire, but you need to agree that it was a major
spin to make him look like the anti-hero, while making non other than GW Bush look like a war hero, if the GOP made GW look so good, imagine what
can they do for Mccain a true example of sacrifice and survival.
