Do they think that of Taylor Swift endorsed Hillary or other Democratic candiates it would guarantee their win? That's sad that you think you need Taylor Swift in order to win elections
No one thought that.

Rumors about taylor swift being homophobic and racist(or at least uneasy around black people) goes all the way back to 2007 when someone asked her a question about hip hop music and then a second question about who does her hair and make up. She gave answers that were really odd and threw some people off.

Basically saying hiphop wasnt real music and that only women did her hair and make up. The smart answers to those questions are, " i have never really listened to hip hop" and " My stylist is ________". Some of her friends have outed her as well and then there was the 2nd Kanye thing where she completely lied about him, but she didnt realize he and Kim K had secretly recorded the conversation.

Some liberals angry at Taylor Swift for not speaking out politically

The Dixie Chicks did and look at what happened to them!

Besides who really care what SOME liberals think or say?

Whether she is liberal or conservative, by speaking out she will alienate half her fan base. I think she is smart for leaving politics out of her career. I wish more celebrities did.

You gotta love the word "Some".

Out of 350 million people there are "Some" people who are pizzed off about anything and everything.

The word "many" falls in the same category.

Here are more articles about this. This is no joke

Taylor Swift Hasn

Quote:
Swift can complain about her mangled reputation all she wants, but the facts speak for themselves. The pop singer, while inarguably talented, often comes across as highly secretive at best and deceitful at worst. If Taylor Swift actually wants us to trust her, she could start by publicly announcing that she didn’t vote for Donald Trump—even if that means pissing off some of her fans. Until Swift is ready to let go of her perfectly controlled (albeit compromised) reputation, the pop star’s vision of glowing headlines and a fresh new start will stay a fantasy.

If Taylor Swift Wants To Address Her Bad Reputation, She Should Start By Condemning Donald Trump

Quote:
So bad was the backlash to being exposed as a fraud that Swift spent the year more or less in hiding — her posts on social media were mostly limited to birthday wishes for her famous friends, she stopped attending high-profile events, she didn’t hold her annual Fourth of July party. Depending on how cooked you like your conspiracy theories, she even started leaving her New York apartment inside a box to avoid paparazzi. Her house of cards collapsed.

But Taylor Swift’s biggest problem isn’t Kim Kardashian or Kanye West. It’s not even Katy Perry. If Taylor Swift wants her career back, there’s one thing she has to do: renounce Donald Trump.

Why is it the right of anyone to demand that someone else announce their political affiliations or voting record? Celebrity or no? Is it in order to publicly humiliate them if they do not make the correct response?

That this is even an issue is SAD!
