Still protecting their own. Can't imagine this happening if the perp was a Republican.

Yet there are still a few fools who believe everything they read in this tabloid and that it isn't biased. Old habits die hard I guess.

LMAO!! I bet they did. They all do this, and that's why I watch NHK or the like. Our media sucks.

Per the Daily Caller, the author, when it was pointed out his article did not mention the Senator was a Democrat, basically said "****, you're right; I'll change that" then he did without complaint.

The author (who represented himself, not the NYT as a whole... but nuance is only a gift bestowed to those who vote the same way you do, I'm sure) most likely is a Democrat and therefore his own biased probably lead him to omitting the detail. Given his response, it most likely wasn't intentional. But it's the NYTs so we have to complain, right? It doesn't matter that every detail of the story was fine. What matters is the NYT didn't add "**** Democrats" like reputable news sources would, such as the Daily Caller or Breitbart.

It's from the Daily Caller, so yeah. This is an understatement.

I'm guessing the NYT is supposed to double down on their error and pretend it was part of some plot. You know, like Trump did with 'covfefe.' Equally trivial and both the result of a minor error, but when you read the Daily Caller, the freedom to err is only given to those who are part of the right totalitarian ideology.

There are only 100 senators- would think most people know their parties by now.

The NY Times is not news. It's well known that it's liberal / progressive / democrat party propaganda.

Strange that the Cons here know more of what the NYT and CNN are saying than most Libs here, yet it is they that claim it is all fake news but obviously cannot stop watching it. Kinda Bizarre if you ask me
