Years back MSNBC would have a spokesman from them on when they were having their one sided discussions. The guy was shifty eyed and with a weasely grin and just looked like he knew he was full of it. Beyond that, they are a left wing for hire organization with little credibility. They push an agenda which is fine, but when a group like that is partisan politically, you can't take anything they say without some skepticism. That and they were into fake news before it was even called that, searching out fictitious or lone oddball crackpots and building them up to be representative of entire classes of people. They were a prototype for what CNN has degraded to. They have absurd conclusions about racism and are alarmist preying on the disinformed and paranoid.
The primary benefactor of the SPLC is George Soros, who is also the primary benefactor of Wikipedia (which cites the SPLC in most of it's articles on Conservitives it hates). Soros funds almost every left-wing organization you can name, including "Think Progress" (Center for American Progress), Media Matters, and many, many others, which are cited often in posts by Leftists on this forum.

The source of that information is pretty reliable. You don't have to believe it. That's your choice to remain ignorant.
I too would be interested in seeing a source that shows that Soros is financing some of these radical leftist groups. I don't know a lot about Soros other than his history as a hedge fund manager and as the founder of the Open Society Foundation, a liberal advocacy group. Soros strikes me as more of a limousine liberal than a leftwing subversive.
I guess the Nazis weren't hateful either. They just had a different point of view. Would you agree?
