"She said, ‘Dad, can I go with you?’ ” Trump added, before making a small correction: “She actually said, ‘Daddy, can I go with you?’ I like that, right?”

Lots of adults call their father "Daddy". You have a problem with that?

I watched the "Come on up, honey" part of his speech.

He sounded like a night club entertainer filling time. I half expected him to call out, "Anybody here from Nebraska? Let's hear it for Nebraska!"

"Is everybody having a good time?"

No doubt Trump's loved her since the day she was born...a beautiful thing indeed.

If this were a Democrat prez, this thread would still exist. The anti Dems would be pointing and laughing while the defenders would be saying "Awwww... so down to earth and heartwarming."

Please. Give it up! This is so tiresome, and frankly, childish.

Mommy, mommy Ivanka calls her daddy, daddy. Why does she do that mommy ? Unlike you little Tommy she knows who her daddy is.

I don't like Trump, but I do agree with this. My mom called her father 'daddy' until the day he died--which was two weeks short of her 36th birthday.

I personally don't care for it, but I may have picked that up from my dad, who was okay with 'daddy' when we were little, but would start correcting us to say 'dad' once we hit our tween years.
