Is there a disparity in measured IQ among the different race demographics of the US?
Is there a disparity in standardized academic test scores among the different race demographics of the US?
Is there a disparity in average hours worked per year among the different race demographics of the US?
If the answer to any of the above is yes, can we then see if the same disparity(ies) exist in other 1st World industrialized nations, and if so, to what degree do they run parallel to the pattern or in contradiction of it?
If the disparity(ies) is/are different, as in different races in different countries occupy different slots than in the US, can we find any cultural, societal or institutional commonalities among both lower and higher performing/measured groups that could point to culture versus genetics?
Every society has underperforming demographics. They are not all the same race. If genetics are not the common thread, what is?
Tons of variables have to be accounted for before you can prove a null hypothesis on the cause of any or all disparities among various racial demographics, no matter what your ideological bent thinks the causation is. You can no more claim "but racism!!" than you can "but genetics!!" until you account for, analyze and properly evaluate all the variables.
Accusing blacks of being generally more lazy and less intelligent using only vague generalities and this cherry picked statistic or that is as absurd and meaningless as accusing all white and/or conservative people's racism as the sole reason why any black person is not as successful as some arbitrary mean or median. In either direction, intellectual laziness lets preconceived notions substitute for logical validity.
So bad reasoning is... bad reasoning. I think we can all agree on that.

Hardly anyone, aside from straw men, ever says that.
Uhm, being Republican (belonging to group) makes you racist? Is this not the argument put forward in this thread, at least implicitly? A percentage of a group has answered a particular poll question, therefore all individuals within that group are suspect.
A nation that has been racist in creating the problem is hardly not going to be racist in its pseudo implementation of a solution.

"creating the problem'? explain to me then why Africans never invented the wheel? Never created a written language? never built a two story structure? This was all the case BEFORE a white person ever set foot in Africa.
