Not that you'd notice; despite this majority (which is distinct from "control" so your use of that word is telling), they've passed little legislation, and what little has passed has largely been insignificant.

Both parties are in terrible shape, having legislative majorities not even slightly ideologically aligning with the majoirty of their voter base.

Correct. The Dems are actually on Easy Street the way things stand. They don't have to do anything but watch as the Republican party implodes trying to work with President Imbecile. Then he'll throw every unfortunate R in his path under the bus for every mistake he makes, as he's proven already.

You can actually measure someone's true beliefs in freedom and civic government based on their views on the opposition party (or parties, in countries lucky enough to have more than two options).

As you were a obama and hillary supporter, you really want to talk about what someone stood for, prior?

Sounds delusional and ignorant to me. The biggest power that the lib-progressives have is the debt ceiling having no limit.

The lib-progressive ideology and way of life is basically based on frivolously spending debt backed currency and passing the debt down the line at the expense of the collective. Who do you think claim more bankruptcies? Detroit is the lib-progressive mentality in a nutshell.

What a sad joke.

Yep. Comparing the fiscal shape of red states/cities/towns to blue is night and day. Most red areas run surpluses.
