Yes, post 23. I was bumping my own quote for the benefit of workingclass hero, who didn't seem to have noticed my earlier quote. Is there anything wrong with bumping one's own quote? I think not. But for some strange reason you seem to think it is, and suggested I rep myself as well.

Ozark liberal bumper stickers trigger man, who flashes gun | The Kansas City Star
Some right wingers are idiots, likewise for some left wingers. Each group has their mentally challenged. These mentally challenged are why there are no stickers on any of our vehicles. Now my desktop and gun safe, well that is another story. Huge I'm with Her sticker.

Umphenour flipped him off.

Burns then removed a handgun from his waist area and pointed it at her, Umphenour told police.

-----------------

Burns - the guy with the gun - looked at Umphenour and gave her the "L" sign. That was event #1. Umphenour, perhaps not even knowing WTH his sign was supposed to mean, returned by giving him the finger. That was event #2. Burns then pulled out his gun. That was event #3.

In other words - and pay close attention! - Burns, the guy with the gun - did the first action. If he has simply pulled up to the light and minded his own business and not cared what somebody else's bumper stickers said, nothing would have happened! It's that simple! The right-winger acted first.
oh, but I did read the sequence of events.
let's recap.
dude makes an 'L' sign.

lady flips him the bird (triggered by the 'L' sign, whatever the hell that is)

now the next event is the one that was triggered by^

can you tell us what that was?

Perhaps you didn't also notice that post #27 was sarcastic.

I hope you're not trying to tell us that somebody is justified in pulling out a gun just because somebody gave them the finger.

nope.
but that was clearly what triggered this hothead to pull a gun.

people that easily triggered should not be carrying weapons.

Well I'm glad we agree on something, including the fact that the guy was a hothead.

Could not agree more! Unfortunately they probably tend to be the type who will want to carry a weapon.
