How is setting a voting age unconstitutional?

BTW, voting is not a right guaranteed by the constitution.

Strangely, that is true, but it is guaranteed by all 50 state constitutions.

If you are old enough to vote, you are old enough to hold public office.

All of these are unrelated and don't address the question of who should be allowed to vote.
How on earth can you claim that there is no relationship between the age at which one can be in the military and the age at which one can vote for politicians who have the ability to declare or reject war?

THAT is a silly statement.

Both of the above statements are false:

She is right about the College students not voting somewhere they have not established permanent residency annually. More than 2 decades ago the county I live in decided they were going to build an arena and use taxpayer funds to do it. It was put up for referendum and the pro arena crowd heavily recruited out of town college students that numbered in the thousands. It was narrowly defeated but would not have been close without those college kid votes.

Had it been approved those College kid would of been long gone leaving the residents here stuck with the bill. They should not be weighing in on things like this where their decisions have no consequences for them. Let them vote in their home district to raise their own taxes along with Mom and Dad's.

As far as not allowing someone to vote until they are 30 that is just absurd. If you are old enough to get shot at overseas you are old enough to vote.

If you are old enough to be drafted into the military or can volunteer to get shot at you are old enough to do all of these things and I would add concealed carry of a pistol to the list.

Agree! Ann Coulter needs to go away like Hillary Clinton.
If you are old enough to be drafted and serve your country...you should have a say. Actually it's one of the only ways you can actually voice what you want because you are government property.

No. We don't own a house or land. My husband could come down on orders tomorrow to move to another state. It's what works best for us.
