Meetings with Democrats to discuss the bi-partisan effort toward a tax cut sounds promising. This appears to be unfolding like it should. No tweeting foolishness, (though still tweeting) and getting down to the nitty gritty of the people's business.

It will be interesting to see how this unfolds over the course of months or years. Some sources are suggesting the legislature will be able to re-write the tax code by the end of the year. I don't believe that will happen, but I hope this is not something they drop the ball on.

Seems like to me Trump doesn't have as much dislike of the Democrats as some would have you believe.

nope he is simply courting votes from a few dems who are in risky seats. they are not going with trump in the end, but they need to play nice to due to trump having strong support in their states...
