Really?
Which carrier groups are those - and where did you find that information?

As near as I can tell, as of 3 days ago there is only 1 is in the area (the Ronald Reagan - off the coast of Japan) with 3 more in San Diego (2 of which are stationed there while the 3rd is stationed Bremerton Wa) - which means there's only ONE in the area and 3 more in port on the U.S. West Coast.

This website is updated regularly with info on the locations of the carrier task groups. It's used by a lot of navy families to keep track of where their loved ones are at any given time.

Click on the map for close-up info on the carriers' current location, home port etc.

Yes it is, because we didn't have THIS level of missile craziness with NK the 8 years President Obama was in office, it started after that orange idiot got in.

The North Koreans have only recently acquired the technology to launch long range nuclear missiles, and to realistically threaten the US.

As for Obama he received lots of pathetic name calling from North Korea, they even called him a monkey, the difference being that North Korea didn't have as much nuclear capability back then and the threats could not be carried out.

Could the reason be, that perhaps they didn't have the technology back then?
And now they do have it?

It could be that Obama did nothing of what was then an up and coming problem except deliver a line in the sand and we know how well those work out. He just dumped a problem that should have been addressed years ago in Trump's lap.
