I do wish we wouldn't make sweeping pronouncements. Not every Democrat, left-leaning, progressive, or liberal thinks Ben Shapiro is a white supremacist. Most probably don't. I think we put people on the defensive (meaning, they reflexively feel they must dig in and defend something) with such talk, rather than trying to come to agreement.
Are we trying to have more people agree, or fewer?

I think most people who think he is a white supremacist don't really watch him or listen to him on regular basis.
He is definitely not a white supremacist. He is perhaps a Libertarian, or a Constitutional conservative.
