Things of History and Truths "People" can Benefit from Learning

Disclaimer: Some will run from this post, and some will fight it and some will attack it, and some will be motivated to investigate and research, to learn... others will simply make every effort to deny, the wise of mankind will seek to pursue knowledge for the sake of better understanding, and others will care to seek information's that help build better unity among the human beings of this world"

The history of race relations in America, must advance ....

An interesting article: "Things White People in General May Benefit From Learning" (many can gain find motivation to want to learn more from reading and doing investigation of their own )

This is a common desire among Christians of all political stripes. I grew up in a conservative evangelical culture, and many right-wing Republicans I knew believed that Christianity had the potential to tear down the walls of racial division, and they hoped it would happen.

But like many whites, I thought of racism and reconciliation in terms of individual relationships rather than in terms of laws, systems and institutions. The true scope of what justice might mean had not occurred to me.

And then in the age of Trump, things fell apart. They had been unraveling for years, ever since America elected its first black president, setting off a slow motion backlash among some whites. In President Obama’s second term there came a staggering rush of video footage filmed on cellphones showing an established pattern of police brutality against African-Americans.

And there was a growing popular awareness that America’s history had been literally whitewashed in the popular imagination, glossing over the dark decades of Jim Crow. For me it took the form of movies like “13th,” which traces the roots of mass incarceration, and from hearing, for the first time, about the Tulsa race riots of 1921 and the destruction of the business district once known as the “Black Wall Street.”
As I read more about this episode and others like it, I asked friends and acquaintances if they too knew about these things. They did not. ((many black and white people should read this!!!!) It is a point in history that has by many means, to try and "bury this truth".

But new calls for racial justice and talk of systemic white supremacy — a system set up during Jim Crow with continuing consequences today — mostly fell on deaf ears. Many white conservatives were sick of hearing about racism, believing that Democrats had cynically played the race card for black votes for decades.

It hasn’t just been some whites who have been on a journey of discovery regarding the ways in which white supremacy was institutionalized, with effects that continue today.
The Tulsa Riots, has been for decades something white society ignored and tried by every means to ensure that it was not widespread knowledge in the American educational system.

It demonstrates the history of "white posse mob mentality" and how it destroyed the lives of black people and their entire community.

I've written much about many things, that some whites try and gloss over, but truly need to invest to learn more not only about themselves, but their attitudes about race relations. Why the obstinate disposition is an oddity of American society, as many post have been met by some whites in this site with aims to deny and deflect. Yet, there are others in the site, who have acknowledged and given thumbs up and support with understanding and follow up commentary, as to acknowledging such truths.

In the Tulsa Riots, created by white people, they used the aid of polices, including the use of airplanes to fire bomb people homes, ultimately destroying the business district of black people, and over 1200 homes, over more than 35 blocks, while indiscriminately shooting black people, and burying some in mass graves.

Yet, many today, make effort to try and NOT understand the message of "BLM". which is basic and simple in stating that "Black Lives Matter", the exact same as white people believe that "WLM".

I write a great deal about what it takes to build "unity". I've outlined the phrase over and over and over, that in America. THE POOR = ( Working Poor Whites, Poor Whites, Working Poor Blacks, and Poor Blacks, Working Poor others Ethnicity, and Poor Other Ethnicity) That too.... people try and gloss over it as if to "deny that" they are part of the Single Group, as being "The Poor" !!! Many try in their minds to "reject it" because they deep down don't "some" white people want to be "group identified with blacks and other minorities".

Many white people come with thoughts, of "I don't want to discuss race", and often it is those same ones, who likely need to discuss race more than others. No, it is not a pleasant discussion, but denying by avoidance, will not diminish nor wash away the history of White Prejudice, nor White Racism. Nor will it wipe away the acts of their ancestry's acts to promote prejudice and racism.
It is to the current day white people benefit to acknowledge, the acts of their ancestry. No one is asking them to "disown their ancestry", but to acknowledge the truth of the vile things and the mentalities that were widespread among their ancestry.
Some simply can't find the stomach to face such truth, so denial is easier, and trying to pass it off and avoid such truth is a means others engage to avoid the pains and truths of such historical background.

They don't understand, to learn, acknowledge and come to terms with such historical realism of other ancestry does not necessarily make them today, hold the same vile and racist contempt", nor does it ask them to bow down to every black they see. What it does ask them to do, is think !!!!! Think of the cultural influence and the cultural attitudes, which was passed along as "common conduct", and to "review themselves, before they speak, review themselves before they make "snap judgments" about black, and to review themselves when they begin to think in terms of "stereotypes". That is all black people have been trying to ask of white people. Is to be "Conscience and Review and Think" before they speak, act and judge.
No one ask them to make reparations, not to give anything others than to themselves, the time to "think, review and understand, how and where some of their cultural mindset originated.

In some white people, when they see black people, they think of many other things, before they see the person as an individual. That is the results of a history of cultural grooming and the influence in the minds of some. When they begin to prejudge, and look through stereotypes, before they can see the individual. That is their "que" telling them, they are looking thought eh prisms of the past. Thus is blinds them either permanently of temporarily from simply seeing black people as simply and individual person.

Because some white people, rob, steal, kill and create every kind of crime one can imagine, when white people see other white people, they don't see them through that prism, they see them as a person first, often times with an attitude of "non suspect'. But when they see black people, they seem them through a prism of "Suspect First" !!! and then they measure everything about the black person through the prism of prejudicial stereotypes. This is the bias and bigotry of how white racism perpetuates itself.

It does so in the minds of people, long before they come to deal with black people, as simply an "Individual Person".

White people have never had to deal with much of this stuff in relations to dealing with each other, because they have never been under the oppression's of racism, prejudice, and stereotypes of oppressive and repressive subjugation, before they deal with each other as a individual person.

When and if many white people learn these things, then they will also, learn how and why some of their actions are seen as being 'racist". even when they think its not racist. It is because of the cultural grooming they have never invested to truly understand how the underlying perceptions they grew up with and that recycle in their community is rooted within... and passed along a cultural norms.

Often many have no thoughts to understand what is "racism" and how it functions. They think dealing with some blacks, whom they can and do build relations absolves the racism. But when it comes to seeing blacks as "a whole", they have not dispelled the "generic racism bias mentality and stereotypes in mindset they hold about and of black people as a whole". They will simply say... Oh' I know a black man or woman, and we get along fine. But that does not translate to the basic of " dispelling the generalized stereotypical overwhelming concept they think of blacks as a whole". Therefore, their generalized attitudes about blacks remain with "reserve, skepticism, distrust, and judgments, and thus they measure black people based on themselves, without understanding and respecting the cultural norms that are part of some black society.
Yet, they are willing to accept the cultural norms of whites across all parts of white society, without reserve and without judgments and without mental subjugation of prejudices and stereotypes.

White people however, in some sectors do adopt many elements from black culture, and yet blacks are not trying to force them into "conformity", and blacks adopt many elements from white culture, but often white people want to seemingly force conformity before acceptance to deal with black people as simply an individual.

Yet, they will accept white people, who've adopted some cultural elements from black society, but those of black society who have adopted some cultural elements from whites society, still are met with the reserve of stereotypes, as if its waiting to label them by some means, the minute they don't conform to all white cultural elements.

There are the unspoken and un-discussed elements of how "race bias continues to perpetuate itself, even in this 21st Century".

Therefore, people have to get beyond the urge to want to deny discussion of race, and learn how and what is race bias, how it functions, how it influence, and how it has embedded itself within white culture. When they do that, they then can become to bee less influenced and less second nature driven to think in racial stereotypes, before they can see and deal with black people as individuals.

Heck everyone is not going to like everyone, that is life, but let not the dislike be driven by race, the same as one may not dislike some elements of other white people, but it is not because they are white, it is because of others factors and items of them as Individuals.
Therefore, it is daunting and challenging element in white society to evolve their minds and come to such awareness to truly dispel, the impacts of historical race bias grooming, and prejudicial stereotypes, that promotes the subliminal race driven measurement of blacks as people.

When these things come to be, then race relations will improve tremendously. White people want to pretend to belive they don't know why black people have general elements that make them skeptical of trusting white people. But, in essence white people know of the history that supports the many elements of race bias, prejudice and stereotypes, that have been historical in white society. From undermining blacks, attaching prejudices to assume blacks to be less intelligent, and assuming black are somehow criminal as a basis, and assuming all these things, that were promoted in white society as derogatory assessments about black people.

Never do white people go back and ask themselves, how did such attitudes come to be? If they did they would understand the history of slavery and the impacts it created, and they then would understand the impacts that segregation created. In doing so, they can and will come to learn the impacts of structured society of segregation driven by race bias, disenfranchised blacks and promoted a wide saturation of poverty. Then they will understand the impacts of what is "poverty" and how it impacts society.

This cannot include the mass volumes of details in these matters and how things evolved through carry over from generation to generation these forementioned elements, but if the individual is willing to "self review" research with open mind and willing to face "real truths of the past", they will gain the insight and elements of factual historical grooming.. and they will learn more of what is "racism", how its displayed and how it is within the psychological make up, and when and if they accept what they come to know and learn.. Then they can find means to learn what and how the changes in ideological make up, is necessary to become truly without the prism of race bias and race prejudice being the means and methods they look through when seeing black people.

they don't teach this stuff in school, but school does teach the principle of social society, it is up to the individual to bring into subject discussion, the real truths of how and what makes up the race bias, race prejudice and the mindset that has been entangled into race being the prism that white people have been groomed to look through when looking at and dealing with black people.

IF white people can ask themselves, "how did so much of white society support the elements of Jim Crow and the Segregation"... that along can tell many, how race was interwoven in their concepts about black people and how they were groomed and trained in culture of looking through the prism of race bias and prejudice before they could see black people as individual and as a group, that is not to be viewed through a prism of stereotypes.

The Civil Rights Act, liberated many many white people from the repressions of segregation, and many were delighted to know they could deal with black people as friends, associate, business mates, and even in relationships of every sort, without being condemned by white society and oppressive race bias and stereotypical repressions by society and the forces of segregation's race based laws. Therefore, As Martin Luther King Jr. pursued... he achieved, the elements by the push for the the Civil Rights Act not only to benefit blacks and other minorities in general, but too, to liberate much and many in white society in general to be able to freely associate and make interactive relations with blacks, without being attacked, ridiculed and persecuted by society and race based segregationist laws.

Music is such a great example, of how "people" transcended racism in their music making, Music changed and in that change, it gave to America the position of being the Birth place of Jazz, Blues, and how Rock and Roll and Rock changed the world of music. It touched everyone in the world !!!! The much heralded "Beatles" made that very clear in their rise and throughout their careers. Many other prominent white musicians have continually acknowledged the influences of black music for their rise and their skill development in music that promoted their musicianship to levels of stardom.
But it is not only Music, this is visible and a factor in all our sciences, technology, business and many other areas of professions in our society and the world.

Even today, some of consider themselves to push for whit supremacy idiocy, themselves don't know the elements of how they too adopted some of black culture in whom and how they are.
It goes even further... into the bloodlines... as over the centuries, all the babies produced by white men raping black women for 100's of years, some of those same babies grew up and blended into white society, and they too had offspring's with white women and men, and only today in society, are things like Ancestry.com and 23 and Me, telling people of the mix without their historical bloodlines.
Truth that people did not want to know for centuries, but today in society, the truths are being made ever present in increasing numbers.
The future will make it even more widespread, as eventually at birth, it will become acknowledge as the DNA make up of babies so they grow up knowing they are a blend of people of the world. Regardless of whom their parents are.

The world is much of a "melting pot"... not just America, but the make up of people on many continents, as the history of mankind has always had a blending of ethnicity and cultures for the expanse of the life of the human beings.

In this "Age of Information"... it is bringing and presenting "truths" that have long been fought against and often times by conscience effort pursued means and ways of denial. But, truth has a way of showing mankind that it will always be. The Truth's of the World and the Truths in the Lives of the Human Beings.

Just as god made so many varieties of all things, he did so with human beings, where people can find any image they desire among the human beings, which affords man the simplicity of variety, but a commonest that is what is the human beings. He made none better than another, but within environment, he created means that people could develop any combination of cultural manners, and those cultural manners could as they have, blended over the many centuries of mankind. It sill not stop.. it is the way of the world and the nature of the human beings. It remains truth, that love transcends all, and beauty and desire is within the nature of mans living framework. Thus so... the world will continue to blend through all the varieties that is within the human spectrum. DNA is such a unique things, it can bring about traits that may skip two or there generations and still produce a uniqueness of individual, that may well show characteristic that are of many variation even from what is visible in the parents of an offspring.

Knowledge will not cease to be a element in the realization of mankind, and over time, it will as it has continually dispelled the biases that man makes in his mind, to resolve itself to the truths that nature presents that man cannot change nor disrupt. Even with his aims of genetic engineering, Nation will reign supreme... because its of mans design in its very essence.
Many can only investigate what God Created, and his investigation only can simply make him become aware, in principle, he has not nor can he create anything that God has not already made the variables capable of doing.
Many can and does seek to create much havoc by his pursuit to seek means to create things that are adverse to what is conducive to the betterment of society, and in doing so, man creates much that is driven with "intent" to be destructive. As in the life of man, his fears make him look to his fear, more than he looks to appreciate the grace and gifts of God and the promotions of unity and good will. Thus he seeks to make contrite, as well as weapons to feed the fears that being contrite brings.

Quote:
We as "human beings" must learn to have the simplicity of self acceptance and acceptance of others and the broad variety of our colors. We should learn from even the simplicity of self acceptance and the acceptance of things in nature. Even animals have such self acceptances, which is, they don't become confounded and prejudiced by the mixture of colors that make up their coat of hair.
A leopard does not seek to get rid of its spots, nor does a two tone colored dog, seek to favor one of its colors over the others, birds and other animals show their beauty by their multiple colors and even those of single color do not try and make themselves above another bird because of its single color. We see plants that give us blooms that have many colors, and no tree denies itself because it base is one color and its leaves and blooms are a mixture of other colors, it knows that such uniqueness is the nature of its beauty.
