Well, I figured out why immediately after seeing the picture.
I don't see any issues with her outerwear, but those boots, come on! That kind of footwear is appropriate for someone dancing on stage, if you know what I mean, not teaching 4th grade kids.
There's a reason why we have social norms on what is appropriate and what is not in our society, and no one should have any issues with that. Professionalism never goes out of style. You'll never see me wearing sneakers with a business suit when interviewing or meeting important clients, know what I mean?
Some of you people sound like old farts with dirty minds. I bet she is just following fashion. She is teaching young children. She is dressed nice.
But this is so typical. Let's talk about women and what's appropriate. You sound just like radical muslims...cover her up!

Sorry, this is not typical for teachers especially if she teaches younger grades where she has to get on the floor with them. And you certainly don't want to dress like that with older children. I'm from a family of teachers.

She teaches 4th grade, not typically a grade where teachers are still sitting on the floor with their students. Even if she did, boots don't keep anyone from sitting on the floor.

But like I said, there are dress codes for teachers at least in my state. I guess not hers.

I am too, both my parents were teachers. My son is in 6th grade. His younger teachers dress really cute. That doesn't affect their ability to teach one bit. This particular woman is fully covered, less a head covering and long sleeved. So she has over the knee boots. That's inn right now. That's fashion in 2017.
She looks like she has a cute body and I think that's what the real problem is. She needs to cover up so men Dont get offended....or jealous women...lol

That is the fashion for going out, not teaching. I have never know any teachers who dress like that.
