If you watch the clip, that's very different than what was said. The interviewer/reporter asked (paraphrased), "If you were cooking for Trump and Jong-un, what would you serve?", and he said, "Hemlock." It was just a smart-ass comment. One that I actually found kind of funny once I watched the video clip, rather than reading about it.
Oh now I get. I didn't watch the clip but I guess that's kind of funny. It's probably the first thing that comes to your mind usually.
I still don't know if I'd really laugh at it though considering my fear but it's far better than Kathy Griffin's picture.

Anthony Bourdain is a self admitted jackass, so I'm not sure why I should care what he says. Seriously, years ago I watched an interview where he said he knew he was a huge jerk. I don't really take these people seriously.
