Celebrities just dont realize how little anyone cares about their political opinions, most are not even good at their chosen profession. Old hollywood made sure their artist stayed out of political commentary for the most part

All these liberals just are killing the their chosen professions, movies are wretched, newspapers and magazine are on life support, tv ratings are way down and mainstream media is just dying. how about the grammys for political statements, another industry in its death throes

the emmys may have two well written shows. silicon valley and house of cards. most of the nominees are crap

I cant wait for the Oscars jennifer lawrence is a genius

Jennifer lawrence mother. worst film of the year, new levels of mediocrity

this isnt about trump, as much as you want to make it about him. it about colbert showing even less taste than he normally does, in a avenue that is inappropriate for such garbage.

This seems to be a well thought out, informed opinion from someone who thinks that "all these liberals are just killing their chosen profession", and that movies "are wretched".

It's one of those posts that are saying how much they don't care about the topic, but go on to then say, BUT, watch this show, it so good.

Yes , silicon valley and house of cards is very well written and a very few others. Most of television drama , comedies and certainly late night liberal talk shows are garbage. Late night tv is like a comfort blanket for liberals, they are all the exact same liberal viewpoint and mediocre .

Mainstream media- {television, hollywood, the music industry, print media) is dying because of technological changes ,mediocrity and most people dont relate to hollywood and manhattan.

This is very true. They were in many ways the escape from the political BS that went on during that time period.

A big question is, will Trump jokes and jibes go out of style, when he's booted? So many comedians and commentators have made such a good living off his absurd persona, they won't want to let him go easily.
So how, and why will Trump get "booted"? Do you mean impeachment? If so, for what? On what planet do you live?

Spot on. The Media, and the entertainment Media was pissed they couldn't elect Hillary. America gave NYC, and L.A. the big Effff you, and rightfully so. The U.S. is not NYC, and L.A. even though the media desperately tries to make it seem so.

Colbert, Kimmel, Fallon, Maher, Myers, etc are all irrelevant, and they can't stand it.
