Who even watches the Emmys? I live in LA about 8 miles from the Microsoft Theater. I don't watch them, and I don't know anyone here who watches them.

So I doubt much of middle America will either.

More likely, it will be a crude and low class bash fest that will expose these liberal elitist snobs as the out of touch with reality airheads that they are. Of course Stevie boy is too dumb to come up with anything on his own, nope, the whole thing will be written for him to read off of cue cards.
I am looking forward to watching it when it gets posted to Youtube.

Ratings were low with Kimmel last year -- 11.3 million viewers --at its peak 17 million viewers.

So it has been drastically dropping in the last 10 years.

I don't think I have ever seen the telecast of one . Usually something about it invades the news.

And yet, with each thing said at the Emmys, I'm sure 10 different posts will be made. All made by people claiming to not watch the Emmys.

Packers vs the Falcons on NBC. Ken Burns' Vietnam starts on PBS. The Emmys will have a tough time competing with those two broadcasts tonight. Not to mention whatever programming is on cable.

The Emmys are precisely the reason why we have an electoral college. To prevent a cult of loud, concentrated fanatics from hijacking an election.
