Its always helpful to remind some people that this is what many blacks think is "white" culture.

Sure you are wrong about black culture and you hunt for evidence to vindicate your claims. Reading your post you argued emotionally that black culture was inferior you presented no facts just opinions and it seems your own fear filled in the blanks. Are blacks in the US on par with whites no. The reason is hundreds of years of chattel slavery then rampant discrimination that occurred even after they were supposedly freed. Basically you are judging two people in a race one that has a broken leg and one that is in a car its not a fair comparison.

I was on the subway today and saw a bunch of white junkies nodding off. Is that "white culture"?

OP, your problem is that you're talking about a subset of black people as though they represent the greater majority.

So you dislike that subset. So? Every group has a subset disliked by others, both inside and outside of that group. I think this has more to do with differences in class among those groups than it has to do with anything else.

If white people were all judged by Billy Bob Joe Smalltown who lived in a trailer, didn't work, drank to excess, and beat his wife, how would you feel?

Would you care to bother explaining why simply not liking a culture based on detrimental behavior makes one a racist? Or does that require too much actual thought and reflection, as opposed to simply throwing the racist term out as a lazy response?
Why don't you call it...."poor descendants of American slaves culture". To call it "black" culture implies link to color. What about these "black people"

Isn't that what people think Trump voters are?

I do not believe that blacks are inferior because of the color of their skin. I believe blacks in general are the unfortunate victims of a culture that sets them up for failure. And yet taking steps to end that destructive culture is labeled racism .

I mean....have you ever tried pondering why "blacks" behave in a way so much different than "whites" to the degree that you have created a distinction with a difference between black and white culture? I mean....African Americans are are least 10 generation Americans. Why would we have a different "Culture"?

Is it an excuse that some people died in the Twin Towers? Why did some die in the building....when others proved you can make it out....by making it out? Why did some people die in war or come back maimed......when it was proven that others came back from war alive and well? Was 911 an excuse for those who died in the buildings? Was war an excuse for those who died or were maimed in war? Why then, is oppression an excuse for blacks in general being behind because successful blacks proved that some could get ahead? Again, I am pointing out that your dissent is built upon the foundation of logical fallacies. If you are constructing your argument upon reasoning fallacies.....it demonstrates a weakness in your position.

There are no fallacies in my reasoning. Only excuses on your part for why my reasoning shouldn't apply to this situation.

Regarding my criticism of black culture, let me ask you a question. Do you insist that I am wrong in labeling the ghetto black culture that makes rap musicians rich, glorifies prison time and crime, that devalues education, hard work, and normal ethical values as broken? Lets establish this first. We can argue the causes after that, but lets first establish whether you think such a culture as exists in many inner city black communities is fine, or broken.

Your post shows that you aren't even reading what I am posting. Go back and read it honestly and without your projections on to what I say. Your last sentence shows that you fail to grasp the point of my thread.

Yes. Like it or not, people tend to lump other people together and judge them based on a handful they dislike. Northern Italians look down on southern Italians, particularly Sicilians. Some Americans living in northern states look down on people living in southern states. There's a hierarchy among Hispanics and Asians.

As people mature and venture out into the world they realize how wrong they were with these beliefs, but some people never get that far.

It's true that people believe these morons represent the state of WV.

Not ALL people but many.

Nothing could be further from the truth. Except possibly McDowell County; they may well represent McDowell County.

But they are a stereotype that the people of WV cannot get away from.
