Hillary Clinton: White women voted against me because the men in their lives told them to?
"Sheryl ended this really sobering conversation by saying that women will have no empathy for you, because they will be under tremendous pressure – and I'm talking principally about white women – they will be under tremendous pressure from fathers and husbands and boyfriends and male employers not to vote for 'the girl,'" Clinton said.
She added, "And we saw a lot of that during the primaries from Sanders supporters, really quite vile attacks online against women who spoke out for me; as I say, one of my biggest support groups, Pantsuit Nation, literally had to become a private site because there was so much sexism directed their way."
Her remarks this week are basically an updated and more detailed version of when she told New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof in April that "misogyny played a role" in her stunning defeat to Trump.
Holy crap, I am sorry but this needs to be called out. This is one of the most revolting and generalizing statements Hillary has said. Why has not a single Democrat called her out?
I think a lot of women didn't vote for Hillary because they either didn't trust her, or didn't like her. My Ex and I had a discussion about who she was going to vote for, and she said " I just don't care for Hillary, I don't know why, but I just don't like her."
I think a lot of people found Hillary not as exciting as they did Bill Clinton or Obama. She was not exactly inspiring, IMO, but I still voted for her because of the terrible alternative.

All BS aside there is some truth to this. I know at least two couples where such a fight occurred. I also know a daughter who pleaded with her father (she is from Ohio) to "please don't vote for that man".
In all cases things were worked out one way or another...but who know what happened behind the voting curtain.
In "traditional" America the man rules the roost to some degree. This is even more so among many religions.
I don't think Hillary is trying to win points. She's rather trying to analyze our crazy country.
I read that quote to my wife. She found it hilarious. Personally, I can't see me ever telling my wife who to vote for. I like being married too much to take a chance.
I think nationally people are no longer laughing ever with her, but at her.
Never have we seen such a whining losing POTUS candidate 9 months later.
I think she is attempting to be Politically Correct by not discriminating - after all, she blamed Everyone/Everything EXCEPT for "women".
She is covering all bases (EXCEPT for HERSELF) - what a Bufooness she is.
