There was nothing really that wrong with the ACA that can not be fixed over time, what really baffles me is the righties who were convinced by the GOP and FOX News that it is horrible beyond belief and had to be repealed are not the slightest bit upset that the party who ran on repealing the ACA for 7 years had nothing to offer in return.

They wished to sabotage and derail affordable healthcare for millions more Americans simply because the other party actually did something, and then when they have the numbers to do just that and ram their proposal down all our throats they had………….nothing………….after…………seven…………years.

Now they throw this hastily designed piece of crap up for a vote, and none of the GOP base has any problems with it, even though every reputable medical committee, hospital and watchdog group stands in justifiable opposition to it.

These people will do whatever their party tells them to do without a moment of thought.

Where was all this reverence for "process" when the ACA was passed in the dark of night amidst bribes and kickbacks and nobody having read the bill?

The hypocrisy and hubris of liberals shouldn't shock me anymore, but it does.

Democrats are incapable of being bipartisan. Name the last time they compromised in any significant way on any issue. You can't, and just because Senator Murray (the stupidest Senator) says they compromise, the sorry track record of her and every other Senate Democrat except Manchin maybe says otherwise.

First draft published: June 2009. Law signed into effect: March 2010. The Senate debated for 25 days in a row. If you're trying to push the idea that the ACA was rushed - particularly in comparison with the current debacle - you're being, if I may be frank, dishonest.

Nobody read the bill that was passed. You're being disingenuous, not anyone else.

When arguments fail, make up your own reality. Never change.

Untrue. The point made by Pelosi was that the final version was unknown and would not be known until the bill was actually passed. The major content was well known but not the exact details.

That's a Leftist Talking Point until you show any LINK showing "Democrats begged for years for the Republicans to come to the table".

I can post links of Obama promising to "fix it", but I've found no links of Democrats wanting to "fix it".
Lots of links with Democrats fighting anything to do with Obamacare, but no "fixes".

I see the left is out in force, rewriting history. It won't work, we all lived through it and know what happened.

As bills go, it was the object of extraordinary scrutiny, and you know it.
