Since when does putting Americans first entail an expensive, inefficicent healthcare system? McCain is a scumbag.
Since when is allowing the free market, which drives down prices and increases quality a bad thing? How many more examples does one need to understand governmentr run= failure?
Boobus doesn't learn.
The Graham-Cassidy Bill sets up a free market system?
Nope. I'm answer for you. It doesn't. It more reduces the scope of the ACA and makes states pay for it themselves (states rights???), who likely will not be a able to pay for it. It's designed to fail, so that the GOP can say "look, public healthcare doesn't work." Which is dishonest. Designing something to fail so you can make a political statement later is lying and it's wrong.
EDIT: oh, good. The response I made for a thread about John McCain got moved to this mega thread. That always makes the debate better...

You recite outdated bumper sticker slogans that really no longer apply or make sense in the healthcare market.
How did free market help bring down costs of healthcare in the past? How did this free market healthcare do as far as insuring senior citizens after they retired? (Look up how and why Medicare started).
Do you really shop around where to go for your medical care while you are having a heart attack or bleeding to death?
Sure, we want contributions from both sides of the aisle, however, the dems will not participate if Ocare is repealed.
How would you know this if they're not invited to participate? Right now, the only objective the Republicans have is to repeal the ACA, and you're right, the Democrats won't sign off on that without something else to take its place. But the GOP has shown they are not interested in actually helping Americans obtain healthcare--that much is obvious by the crap bills they keep putting forth that do the exact opposite.
As there has not yet been a genuine effort by the Republicans, and they've never actually invited the Democrats to participate, we'll never know if your statement is true or not.
The Democrats, if the current bill is passed, will certainly join a debate over the health care Americans need after they regain control of the Senate and the House in 2018. I believe the current proposal, if passed, will so greatly damage most of the Trumpsters that they will never vote for a Republican again.
Would you rather for-profit insurance companies make your healthcare choices for you?
Trade one evil bureaucracy for another? Of course not my question to you is why do you think one is better than the other?
A truly free market would largely eliminate the need for, or lessen the reliance on, health insurance.
The Graham-Cassidy Bill sets up a free market system?
No that's the reason to vote against it.

You don't have to answer for me. I already know that.

It has already failed. What part of sky rocketing costs and lower quality since government got involved in the healthcare industry don't you get?

So does making sense when replying to a post. Try it.

Absurd comment. Uninformed people make things up and don't discuss the issue.

Costs went up faster than inflation even though technology lowers costs in EVERY field. The best part about your factless post, is that healthcare costs started to go up faster than inflation starting in the mid 1960's because of medicare and medicaid. Don't let those facts get in the way. Make sure you ignore them.

No I do it before hand. Since when are those the only 2 medical problems which btw are usually treated by first responders. Your post was nothing more than a factless emotional rant.
