Hmmm...I don't see anyone commenting on the $2m that Obama has donated to inner city Chicago youth?

Did I miss something?

President Obama is no longer in office right?

So are critics saying this appears to be payback for something he did in 2009/2010....that the insurance companies said -- do 'x' for us and we will give you 400,000 to come and speak in 2017 . Really?

Well -- okay then

I suggest they protest at the Republican press conferences - especially those that want to see them go home like yesterday.

We got plenty of those they can protest.
Pelosi invited them, the (R)'s didn't. They do not trust her and there is nothing wrong in letting her know that.

They are not shaming him because of making a lot of money. Nether condemned the millions from book fee's. They are condemning how he is making the money in this instance.

No celebrity, whether they are writer or politician, speaks for free. What they get paid depends on how in-demand they are. My SO's company paid James freakin' Corden $1m for speaking at an event this year. Is James Corden greedy? Corrupt? Probably, according to Bernie and Liz. I don't feel at all offended about Obama, Bush, or even, one day, Trump, getting six figure fees for speaking. They have high profile roles, and are in demand. Duh?
Wall Street does not give without an expectation of a return and they get it.

Obama is still fully ensconced in the DNC leadership. He will have a major say in their platforms and actions.

If insurance companies are making so much money, why are they saying they aren't and pulling out of markets?
