Oh, this just became a "thing" overnight after that college centerpiece faux drama. Let's watch and see if, once again, we can make something big out of nothing at all.

It is ridiculous.
FWIW, I know many older black people who have cotton hanging in their homes. Many of them, it is actual cotton that they or their parents or grandparents picked and it is hanging in the home to remind them of how far we have come as black people in America and how hard our ancestors worked so we don't have to work so hard.
I don't see anything wrong with it and think its ridiculous yahoo wrote a "news" article about a social media post and that someone posted it here and wants to act like this is some huge issue when its not.
