A Torrance police officer picking up a takeout lunch at a local pizzeria was handed a receipt with an obscene anti-police message, a gesture that touched off a firestorm Monday on social media.

The officer, who was in uniform Thursday at Pieology in Torrance, did not respond and, in fact, left a tip when the female cashier handed him the shocking receipt Thursday that said “F— The Cops.”
