Black Lives Matter was founded because they don't want to see unarmed black people posing no threat (or anyone really) killed by police. Their tactics may be problematic, but I don't think most of us want innocent black men killed at traffic stops, for example.
The KKK exists to terrorize anybody who isn't a straight, white, Anglo-Saxon Protestant. They hate huge swaths of the country.
They are both racially motivated hate groups. You will likely find many BLM members who hate whites with all the vitriol that KKK members hate blacks. The KKK is old and has done far more damage to our society because of its age but BLM is a current and active racial group.

Wanting accountability and justice for the perceived innocent who were killed apparently means you hate White people.

What it turned into is why people view it the way they do.
And BTW.....the KKK are so few in numbers these days as to be all but statistically insignificant...... except in the minds of those like BLM who want to hold them up as a boogyman to use in their "white people are evil" narrative.

Anyone who equates that with BLM should be viewed with suspicion. They are not the same. BLM seeks justice, although some of its supposed members may have turned violent. KKK was founded to terrorize non-whites, especially African peoples and Jews.
