Who says the the republicans have betrayed us? lol No money to protect our border I guess

Of course the "progressives" are always very brave as well

I really think people like rand paul is more of a progressive than most of these democrat frauds. booker,franken,harris all voted for this abomination

Rand paul voted against it

All but 8 senators, including most Democrats, voted to increase military budget to $700 Billion/yr. Well above what the Pentagon requested.

Rand Paul is "libertarian leaning" meaning he shares some views with progressives.

Thats being said, no, he isnt one, and neither are any of the people you named.

I would say 4 of the 5 Democrats against this could be considered progressives.

Military spending is little more than a universal corporate welfare system with much more concern for profits then for the troops that attempt to use these products. That budget could have been cut by 30% or more just by leaving Afghanistan and the rest of the Middle East.
