Trump is riding high. His AGGREGATE numbers are as high as they have been since start of his tenure:

As derived in other threads by the way they have underperformed, these polls are probably 4-9 points underestimating him. Based either off of how they underestimated his head-to-head, or his overall approval on the eve of election, he is really at 50% to 55%.
In any event, this will be enough to win the electoral college. And nominating a self-declared socialist is not going to do it.
Good job dems! Better hope coronavirus destroys the worldwide economy. It is the best shot you have.
Consider that people might approve of his tenure yet figure that it is in the best interest of the country to give someone else less controversial a crack at it. Now, the virus. Coronavirus is out of control now with cases spreading around the globe and increasing daily. It should be raging in the US this fall taking out Trump supporters (old men) disproportionately, making them fearful of going outside and voting.
I'll say it now since nobody else will: the Deep State's insane step of bringing Americans from the Wuhan Hot Zone back to the U.S. isn't just ignorance, it's a deliberate attempt to crash the economy by making sure the pandemic takes off now, rather than later. They would absolutely kill thousands of Americans if it allows them to reclaim their power.

The Trump underestimated number I use is 7%. That is the lead the polls showed Hillary had just before the 2016 "upset".
