America's most educated states: Louisiana ranks at bottom

No wonder eating with utensils is considered high class.

Enough of the jokes, time to debunk his claims.

The most educated area in Louisiana is Oak Hills Place which is in a county that voted for Clinton by almost 10 points. It was also one of the few counties in Louisiana that voted for Clinton.

See which Louisiana community is the most educated in the state | NOLA.com
Didn't see this before I posted. But I agree that LA is also not all that educated of a state, however they had I believe about 4-5 counties that went for Clinton and those counties/parishes, including the one you mentioned, have high concentrations of college educated people.

I'd disagree. Look at Antifa. BLM. The whiny, Berniebots that demand free stuff with no effort on their part. The intolerance and violence of so many on the left. The constant attacks on America and especially the working class by the left. ALL of those things are products of our educational industry. All of those acts and concepts came from our left-leaning universities and have for decades. Academia in far too many cases has become a training ground for leftists and an anti-intellectual stronghold. Not all degree programs or universities of course-we still have schools teaching the hard sciences and STEM classes where most often this doesn't apply. But it is far too common in most liberal arts "basket weaving" programs.

Right leaning have white supremacist groups -- left leaning AntiFa -- they are the same.

Violence, etc. is not one sided -- it takes two to tango.

There are idiots everywhere and with all kinds of political ideology.

Some don't even have a political ideology but are labeled because of generalizations.

Many of those that show up at these protests and vandalize, cause the most violence aren't politically active. They are just idiots looking for a fight.

Here in Louisiana, and where I used to live in West Virginia, your average Republican is a LOT more educated than your average Democrat. Here in the Baton Rouge area most of the college educated, middle class suburban people are Republican and many suburban communities voted for Trump by over 80%, higher than many of the rural towns .
Statistics show those two states are at the bottom of the civilized barrel in a number of ways. I'm glad you are among the 1%.

LA - LAST (50th) in Education - Congratulations! DEAD LAST in total state rankings of basic civilization
The "educated" there must never have learned about these things we call FACTS. See enclosed chart.

I know, I know...Fake News.

Try as you may, the idea that you are bragging on being in a 3rd world country is sad. You know - you can go to Russia and talk about the educated oligarchs you will find. You can even go to the sub-saharan Africa and find some highly polished and educated/wealthy citizens.

Hint - it doesn't mean much.
Hint 2 - we judge the USA by the standing of ALL of the people, not just a few you can find somewhere.
Hint 3 - your post is exhibit #1 of why you are very wrong, but my guess is that you don't understand that.

(Note- I lived in WV....the average person is not really political as they are trying to scratch out a living - maybe you met some of the coal barons who WOULD be Republicans and wealthy).

Most Democrats aren't liberal. There are many moderate Democrats and even some conservative Democrats.

Only 42% of Democrats are liberals. 38% of Democrats are moderate and 17% are conservative Democrats.

Democratic voters increasingly embrace the ‘liberal’ label

Is the OP's question only about the 42% of Democrats that are liberal?

I bet most of those committing the violent crimes in Chicago aren't registered to vote and don't associate with any party and they don't follow politics. They are gang members and many of them are too young to vote since they are under 18. They are losers that don't work and they hang out on street corners and peddle drugs and guns and protect their drug turf. They hate anything to do with authority and law and this includes politics.

However, most people in Chicago are hard working regular people. Those folks stay away from the gang members as best they can.

I would describe anybody who voted for Hillary Clinton or supported Bernie Sanders as a liberal.

In the case of Bernie Sanders, it's actually socialist.

Prior to Trump the media portrayed Republicans as rich, elitist, country club, college educated, old boy network, frat boys. Now that Trump won, they portray them as uneducated, knuckle draggers that are blue collar workers, or worse. So which is it Media? If I had to guess, I would suspect Republicans on a whole are more college educated than Democrats, not that it makes them "better".

You have to realize that at least 95%+ of the Media is just a Democrat propaganda outlet now. Period.

Many people voted for Clinton because they didn't like Trump. Not because they are liberal. Clinton IMO is not liberal. Bernie Sanders isn't even a Democrat. I do think he is very heavily liberal.

I voted for Clinton and I don't consider myself a liberal. I thought Trump was an a$$hole and I don't waste votes on third party candidates. Plus I didn't like any of the 3rd party candidates anyway. Clinton was actually the most moderate presidential candidate in 2016 for people who don't have "I hate the Clintons" glasses on.

You consider George H W Bush, Republican, the 41st President of the United States - to be a liberal?
