So their economy is based on undocumented citizenry and would collapse like Detroit's did for similar but different reasons and that justifies the continued and compounding expenditures at the taxpayers expenses?
You are saying that the L.A. economy is based on undocumented citizens?
Of course it is, along with the anchor babies that are now parents themselves. I don't know why this would surprise anyone. There are several generations one after another that make up a good percentage of the population, far more than people outside of the area realize.
If you are so ignorant to need that defined this thread is way over your head. Move along. I have lived in all three west coast states which include Cali, Oregon and Washington at one point or another. No need to try insulting my awareness. I lived in a city about 10 miles from L.A. and San Francisco at one time.

Well, corps are making plenty of money off them. The government is helping by providing food stamps and free healthcare/education so the CEOś get extra bonuses instead of having to pay it.

Itś a great setup, I call it the Walmart model.
There is some similarity to having countries like China replace our manufacturing sector while enriching wall st doing it.
In this case, the enabling bureaucracy would be wall St and the undocumented workers would be the low paid Asian manufacturing workers making the products that wall st profits from at the expense of loss of jobs to American workers to make a comparison.
Very ironic seeing how that the democrats are always the ones pushing unions to protect American jobs and so forth however. The reverse is true in this case. The enabling bureaucracy that is supporting the undocumented citizens are actually unionized workers with a vested interest in their job security, pensions and benefits.
Just connect the dollar signs and you'll figure it out.

Actually you're wrong. The amount of border patrols increased to record levels under Obama, and a considerable amount of work was continued from the Bush admin. In 2014, Republicans blocked Obama's request for 2.7 billion increase in border security funds. Liberals agree that border security is a priority.
Any rational political observer can conclude that Trump's wall is a shining example of government waste with no real utility. A wall will do nothing to prevent people from overstaying their visas. Liberals and conservatives oppose it for obvious reasons.
Conflating support for DACA and a path to citizenship with being anti-American worker is ridiculous. In a perfect world, our borders would've been completely secure in the 80's and 90's - they weren't. We can't deport millions of law-abiding illegal immigrants who have been an integral part of the economy for decades. It would throw the country into chaos. Why wouldn't we have these people paying taxes and contributing to the economy.
Its libertarians like David Koch that love the ambiguous legal status of illegal immigrants, its good for big business.
This thread is for people to give their opinion as to why undocumented citizens deserve to be taken care of at the taxpayers expenses in sanctuary cities such as L.A. California which apparently spent well over one billion dollars in the short span of two years to support them.
Most everyone in the country came from somewhere at one point in time but most came through proper ways of getting here. Is it fair for cities such as this to be spending this type of money to support them?
How do you or don't you justify it? Does it not seem like taking care of illegals has become big business and job security for the democrats?
If LA can afford to spend $1.3 billion on criminal aliens, it really doesn't sound like they really need any grant money from Federal taxpayers.
