This thread is for people to give their opinion as to why undocumented citizens deserve to be taken care of at the taxpayers expenses in sanctuary cities such as L.A. California which apparently spent well over one billion dollars in the short span of two years to support them.
Most everyone in the country came from somewhere at one point in time but most came through proper ways of getting here. Is it fair for cities such as this to be spending this type of money to support them?
How do you or don't you justify it? Does it not seem like taking care of illegals has become big business and job security for the democrats?
End welfare, problem solved. The ones here working arent the problem.
Do you agree with ending all types of welfare permanently, including corporate and bank bailouts? Would this not lead to a better and more responsible society? But I disagree that the "ones here" are not the problem. There are lots of welfare collecting documented citizens who have made it a big problem.
There should be some social welfare available for documented citizens who are mothers with babies, etc. and really need it of course.

All welfare schemes should be ended, charity should be private and funded voluntarily.
Sorry to steal your thunder by being consistent.

Right now, Los Angeles no longer has a choice. Illegals, their children and relatives make up a significant part of the population. If they left, the Los Angeles economy would be in shambles. Many schools would have to close as well as businesses. City revenue would plummet. Vacant homes would be everywhere within the inner city and surrounding communities. L.A. would probably have to file for bankruptcy and hope the middle class which left the area years ago and are still leaving, comes back to fill the void.

So their economy is based on undocumented citizenry and would collapse like Detroit's did for similar but different reasons and that justifies the continued and compounding expenditures at the taxpayers expenses?
You are saying that the L.A. economy is based on undocumented citizens?
They need to double taxes in LA in order to accommodate more.
