Will you get more grief for coming out as LGBT to conservatives, or coming out as conservative to LGBT people?

LGBT to conservatives. I know, I live in Oklahoma City and am a Baptist preacher's kid.
In terms of conservative to LGBT people, that depends on the type of conservative. A lot of LGBT people are libertarian type conservative. If you are a Roy Moore "kill the gays" conservative, you can expect some backlash.

Yup. There are some conservative places that are more live and let live than other conservative places. I think it all depends on how much libertarianism exists in a conservative community. A lot of libertarians don't care much about what others do (or are) as long as they are allowed the freedom to do as they please in return.
Definitely coming out as a conservative to LGBT. LGBT will eat each other alive if one of their own claims to identify with any types of conservative ideals or policies.

Coming out LGBT to conservative Christian parents can result in disownment or worse, continual manipulation and harassment until you are forced to separate yourself from your family. I allowed my parents to manipulate me into going back into the closet and spending a fortune on ex-gay conversion therapy that nearly drove me to suicide. Not fun stuff.
