If Kim starts in, Iran will also begin firing nukes. Don't think Israel is not about to nail Iran if anything happens.
What about Obama's historic Iran deal

"The world, including all member states currently attending the United Nations General Assembly, must clearly remember that this time, America declared war on us first. The U.N. charter acknowledges all member states' independent rights to self-defense.

Because the United States declared war, even if U.S. strategic bombers do not intrude into our air, we will possess the right to respond in self-defense, including the right to launch at a random time and drop [the strategic bomber]."

while trump can send the miltary into action for 90 days, in this country only congress can declare war on a country. they can choose to support the presidents actions after 90 days by financing the effort though. but it is obvious that kim either has no clue about how war is declared in this country, or he doesnt care.

either way he needs to be real careful with his actions, or he may just find out what real war is.

Which is why North Korea is trying to see what they can do thats legal, but still inflammatory. IE shooting 4 missiles bracketing Guam is legal. shooting down planes that illegally enter your airspace is legal.

They want a US initiated conflict in order to pull China in.

Has the USA violated North Korean air space?

Lets get real folks, the largest nuclear weapon demonstrated by Korea is tiny. Its not going to take out all of LA. Kill 100,000 people? Sure! But first it would have to launch successfully, evade multiple interceptions, re-enter the atmosphere (something they haven't done successfully with a ICBM) evade interception again, and successfully detonate. Odds arent high of that working. And if it did?

We would turn North Korea into a uninhabited wasteland.

North Korea is just going to talk trash.

Might they shoot down a bomber? Maybe. But then we have an excuse to blow up tons of their stuff. They know it, we know it.

People talking about how planes are "just blips", show a stunning amount of ignorance. I can tell you what planes are most likely civilian, their speed, location, and name within 100 miles of my location using $40 of equipment.....and my cell phone. (For those curious, a software defined radio (SDR), a antenna, and a filter connected to my smart phone-and all portable as its attached to my car). I'm sure Korea can manage to differentiate. Its why shooting down a airliner in the modern era is so stupid.
How do we know that he doesn't have better weapons and he just putting on a show for us?

If he does and they can reach anywhere on the western coast of the United States, everyone should be worried. Fall out would not be contained to that one city or state- the environmental damage alone would affect the surrounding red states as well.

Keep in mind that this is the same UN that calls Syria a internal problem not requiring any UN intervention, but at the same time smacks countries for not taking their refugees (wait, they can't be refugees because it's a internal problem so they must be something else).

OH NO! Maybe he has magical unicorns!

Because even claiming he can deliver a nuke to us via missile is better then he probably can do.

And fallout from nuclear weapons of the size North Korea has is minimal. Additionally fallout from nuclear weapons is primarily when they are used in the ground mode, not a airburst mode. We worried about that with Russia because nukes used to target our launch sites would be ground bursts, and create more fallout. The fallout from a airburst weapon is much smaller-but the weapon is far more deadly to a larger area unless designed to create fallout.

Bottom line, you are making up scary unicorns. Reality is North Korea's threat to the West coast is relatively minimal. I am FAR more worried about any biological weapons they might possess.
