I've known a lot of bible thumpers in my life, and most of them were the kind who sinned all week and repented on Sunday. They live by " Everyone should do as I say, except me".
I think it was your Jesus who said "Let those among you with no sin cast the first stone" (I paraphrase) I think Jesus would be more compassionate toward people who love differently than you than you are being.
We all sin every day, Jesus died for all those sins. However that does not mean the Christian should embrace a sinful lifestyle or legitimize it. Doing that would lead people into the hands of the devil. Homosexuality is sinful, no amount of tolerance and political correctness will change that. Encouraging sin and godlessness only leads lost souls to an eternity burning in hell. Godly Christian leaders and laws that support Christian values encourage a proper life, this is why I support Christian conservative candidates for office. Our nation is morally circling the drain, we are running out of time to save ourselves from mass immorality.

By non judgement and loving your neighbors you mean accepting a sinful lifestyle prohibited in the Bible. Encouraging others to live in sin is like allowing children to play on the highway. Sin leads to eternal death, doing anything that encourages sin is the very opposite of "loving your neighbor"

This is America. You have Freedom of Choice on how you live your life, and in which religion you belong to, if any. It's not really up to other "Americans" or Politicians to dictate how you should live your life, or what you should think or believe.
I also think other people need to mind their own business, and quit trying to shove their Religious Agenda's and Doctrines down everyone else's throat. You have every right to speak your mind and say what you feel, you however do not have a right to force your beliefs on other people, who may not concur.
This is America where we have Freedom of Religion, or Freedom from Religion, in some cases...we are not a Theocracy. If you want that, maybe you should move to Iran or Iraq.
I think the Government needs to mind it's own business and stay out of people's lives and bedrooms.
