And NK wasn't aware it happened. A blind man could invade that country and not get noticed.

the difference is though that clinton would be giving NK all kinds of stuff to shut up and go away.

Nah, the difference is Trump makes it two petulant 6 year olds calling each other names.

Makes it more likely they'll react erroneously if they do think they detect something--less likely to wait long enough to be sure.

Knowing that a guy with a gun is nervous and afraid of you doesn't make you safer.

Horrifying portraits of American soldiers torturing women with pliers and murdering babies are used for propaganda by North Korea as posters created by Kim Jong-il's regime are displayed in public

What does attacking North Korea get us? We'd have a massive land war on the Korean peninsula (again), tens of thousands of inevitable casualties in South Korea, probably millions in North Korea, with all the bad press that would entail.

Even if you don't trust DT, you have to know that the generals are not that impulsive.

Plus, Even the dumbest North Korean leader knows that such an attack would result in their own death. They keep the rhetoric high to keep their people under control, not because they want war.

And the one thing no one mentions is how China will react to all of this. They have alliances with NK and may not take any of this kindly. Yes, China loves us for buying their products, but they also have a pact with NK regarding military support. Then there is how Russia will think about all of this.

This is bigger than just NK. With Trump having pissed off all the countries we need as allies, our position is not what it once was.

If Kim is still alive and in power Trump is not getting re-elected. His voters demand the eradication of the North Korean virus from the planet once and for all.

china has said, not that i necessarily trust them, that if north korea fires first, then china will stay out of the war unless they are threatened. but if the US shoots first, then china will back north korea.

as for russia, chances are they stay out if china stays out. they might send supplies to north korea, but that will be about it.
