Nope only his supporters. Sane people were thinking he should stick to his job instead of feuding with athletes.

The nation is more divided than ever, by race, by religion, by nationality, political inclination ...

You see divisions in sports because it is most visible for being on TV, the reality is a lot worse. When are we making America not so bad again?

It's not really politicizing sports or that he is really behind anything he pretends to be, but just uses an opportunity to appeal to his followers by spouting, in this case, patriotism, that will keep his supporters' attention. 😏

Stands up for... a portion of Americans. So America should be represented by a juvenile, name-calling, bullying dolt? It's no wonder that other countries want to figure out what the heck has gone wrong, here.

What president doesn't represent just a "portion of Americans"? You act like all the others have been these unifying forces....they haven't

Trump is playing to his 30% of die hard supporters. The players last time i checked still live in a free country. Like it or not. They are within their rights. Don't like it? Don't watch.... Trump has clearly overstepped his bounds by cursing at these people. Who voted for this street thug? He really acts like a fool. One of the most ignorant presidents ever....
