And why is the president commenting on the supposed politics of sports? What is the benefit of that?
It's not really politicizing sports or that he is really behind anything he pretends to be, but just uses an opportunity to appeal to his followers by spouting, in this case, patriotism, that will keep his supporters' attention. 😏

Trump is playing to his 30% of die hard supporters. The players last time i checked still live in a free country. Like it or not. They are within their rights. Don't like it? Don't watch....
