Um..no. The "righties" have been fighting to free people from oppression since the founding of our country. Remember, it was the democrats that founded the KKK, was pro slavery, and created Jim Crow laws...
And they switched over to Republican after 1964. You know the KKK, the southern Dixiecrats. They just switched places.

The vast majority of Trump supporters don't believe that is going on. But, they do believe that this country needed a change from the Great Divider and career politicians who stick it to the average citizen at every opportunity.
They voted for Trump because the alternative was a career identity politician who changed her view when ever the wind blew.
They voted for Trump because they were tired of sending billions overseas when their own veterans were suffering at home.
They are tired of low testosterone lefties trying to direct the moral compass of the country.
I lived as a Jew in the USSR of the 70-s, 80s. And I just laugh when somebody in USA *of today* says that he is oppressed. Pulease, give me a break.
