This seems really stupid to me given that they are shouting down or approving things against other....."Americans". I can see the chant having a place in an international soccer game between the USA and say.....Russia, but it seems nonsensical to make that chant in domestic political affairs between fellow Americans.
What these yahoos are trying to say with these chants, is that they and only they, are real Americans and all others in this country are not.
But it honestly does not sound patriotic. It sounds like a bunch of drunk guys at a frat house keg party.
Ok, maybe it sounds that way to you, and depending on the venue and those chanting, might actually be close to that.
However, how does it sound to you when you hear "hey hey, ho ho, the _____ have to go" or other such liberal type chants at these so called rallies?
My least favorite was "pigs in a blanket, fry them like bacon".
Or the stupid "na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, ___ ___ ___".
I'd much rather hear something positive about our country like "USA, USA" which represents all proud and patriotic Americans, vs. divisive rhymes by fools that are targeting representatives of our country, or certain groups for negativity.
I don't know what the big deal is over this. Those employees seem to have a "right" to do as they please because their employers are okay with them doing it on company time. So, that is that. Quit whining about it and "chanting about it." That really does nothing. You're wasting your time.
If it really does offend you, stop chanting! Stick it to them where it counts. The way you tell these people that you do not approve is to quit watching them, quit talking about them, and above all QUIT WASTING YOUR MONEY ON THEM! That is the only way you are going to get their attention.
If you aren't willing to do that, then shut up about it.
Because we're proud of our country. It's something liberals don't understand.
