Most Democrats ARE white people and Democrats don't think white people are evil. Not for one second. Democrats embrace all people - all races, all nationalities, all religions, all genders, all ages, all levels of education. There's enough room in the party for everyone. It's not an exclusive club.

Since most people, white or otherwise--don't feel that it comes down to those terms you enumerated--I would guess that it's all about the economy---who has the better plan for the future? Foreign policy..do we feel safe? Quality of life. Healthcare.
