He was? That's not the what I heard, he waited until today to deploy the US Medical Ship Comfort, it will take 4 days to ready and 5 days after that to arrive. And the hurricane hit Puerto Rico on Sept 20th, six days ago. So far the feds have provided 4 million ready-to-eat meals and 6 million liters of water. That's less than a day's supply for each of the island's 3.4 million U.S. citizens. Sounds like this disaster relief is about as botched as Katrina was.

here are what a few news sources have to say about this huge disaster relief:

Questions mount on size of Puerto Rico relief mission, hospital ship

I know you don't mean anything by it but wouldn't it be better to say Mainland American since it is technically mostly Americans on the island.

As citizens, all it takes is a short plane ride from Puerto Rico to the States.

Many Wall Street traders took up residence there to avoid taxes. If there is a max exodus by all the native Puerto Ricans, I wouldn't be surprised if private money rebuilt the Island and made it impossible for them to return.

This is the weakest argument. Just because he tweeted more about the NFL? You don't know what goes on behind close doors.

Efforts to help after a disaster will never be "enough" since we can't magically move everyone or fix PR. It's a process and it won't be perfect because nothing can be. I'm convinced we are doing all we can under the circumstance and hate seeing people complain about everything as they sit comfortably at their computers.
