WHY?

why does the head of the environment protection agency need such secrecy?

anyone have a guess?

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is spending nearly $25,000 to build a soundproof phone booth for Administrator Scott Pruitt

The Washington Post reported Tuesday that the agency entered into a $24,570 contract last month for a “privacy booth for the administrator” with Acoustical Solutions, a company that specializes in sound-dampening technology for hearing tests.

in case someone forgets exactly who Pruitt is:

Trump names Scott Pruitt, Oklahoma attorney general suing EPA on climate change, to head the EPA

Pruitt has spent much of his energy as attorney general fighting the very agency he is being nominated to lead.

He is the third of Trump’s nominees who have key philosophical differences with the missions of the agencies they have been tapped to run.

Isn't this the same guy that has also spent a fortune on a HUGE personal security team to protect him? I'm guessing the soundproof booth is to avoid being heard negotiating with lobbyists and anti-environmental entities.

Leaking what? What is he afraid of having leaked in the EPA? That's the million dollar question. What is the head of the EPA afraid of that he would need an 18 person personal security team and a $25,000 soundproof booth???
