Price was chosen to head HHC to kill Obamacare, because he was once in Congress. Trump had to have someone's scalp after last week for the last repeal collapse.
And, on further investigation, Price rang up a cool $1 million dollars of private transportation bills, not the measly $300,000 that was first discovered. He used military jets more often, and they cost more than civilian aircraft to fly. He's worth $13 million, but a million bucks is a big dent. Now that he's resigned, he won't be eager to repay that much money.
Some people (Trump included) look at these sweet government posts as wealth amplifiers.
A million bucks worth of high class transportation free, and the bragging rights are priceless.
God Almighty, this administration is loaded with scandal after scandal. Irony is that Trump promised us that this is what it would have been like if Hillary was elected.
Trump is the king of projection. Anything he attacks others for, he does himself.
Obama didn't have a problem with many cabinet and staff taking military and charter planes for far more money. I heard Holder was one of the worst, using planes for personal trips. Maybe Price thought it was okay because a precedent had been set. I guess because Trump is a businessman who is used to looking at the bottom line, unlike Obama who knew nothing about running a company. I guess Obama viewed taxes as his personal bank account.
