The best thing to come out of this hurricane might be a modern power grid (thank you USA), and the revelation that their political system needs a radical.
Any feedback from mayors from other 77 parts. Things seem to be slowly stabilizing. She went with genocide narrative and not even bother to work with FEMA.

I've seen some of the first refugees/transplants from Puerto Rico. I still say this was the best thing to ever happen to them if it gets them here and they leave the island lifestyle behind. It was a mix of older people to the young. They seemed happy although this winter its going to get some getting used to.
And Trump has given them a whole new industry when he speeded up the transport of cargo to the island. Those shipping containers have become a niche housing industry. Tiny houses and survival bunkers. Its got to beat some of the housing the poorest had before their homes were obliterated.

Seems only this mayor, with political aspirations, has a beef with the US government response.
I don’t have cable, but I’m guessing most 24 hour news nets are only quoting SJ mayor, ignoring others.
