The Republican Party Must Answer for What It Did to Kansas and Louisiana
I guess only a liberal New York magazine would think that cutting 2,000 government jobs that likely were not needed and 4 government agencies was a bad thing.
Amazing, how liberals think the more people sitting in comfy chairs in government buildings thinking up schemes to waste taxpayer money is a good thing.
Just shows how much Democrat Kathleen Sebelius bloated up the government bureaucracy during her years as governor before she went to Washington DC to spend money on Obama's pet programs.
The 700 million dollar budget shortfall is not a bad sign as that is 700 million dollars that workers in Kansas got to choose how to spend as opposed to the legislature spending their money.
Part of Kansas issue is that commodity, oil and natural gas prices have been unusually low. I am sure if oil, natural gas and commodities rebound they will be in much better shape than most states again.
