His brother also states that they had virtually nothing to do with their father. It's not like a close parental bond was broken. And if he was going to "blame the system" and act out, he probably would have done so long ago. At 64, he was probably way beyond his father and nursing other grievances.

do you get it? laws are not magic, but the do reduce and limit bad actors. nobody here is talking absolutes.

And it was proved by several posters that that the reduction was short lived. Firearms crimes are rising in AU, since their ban.

When it comes to stripping the law abiding of their rights, yes..it is talking absolutes.

And please don't retort with a "common sense gun law" thing. As of yet I think maybe one or two people have suggested anything remotely close to common sense.

Without exception, as far as I know, every mass shooter has been on them. That's mental health treatment these days; fast and profitable...and dangerous.

Also prescribed for many other things: chronic pain, smoking cessation, etc.
Suicidal thoughts are listed but nothing about violent impulses. Are you referring to a specific drug? They could do some good if used the correct way under the right medical care.

Someone "stocking up" on automatic weapons is probably already known...to the IRS...because at like $20,000 a pop you gotta be rich.

I am still going with my theory in that this was semi-automatic only, with many of the fatalities occurring due to high caliber/heavy grain pass-throughs of rounds. Terrible.

Seems like a lot of our local ,"law abiding" gun owners are so slack
with their firearms that in one month this summer there
was a total of 30 guns stolen out
of 30 different people's vehicles.
I advocate that if you leave your gun loose around the house or your car, you do not deserve
to keep your license for a gun. That ought to at least lessen the
loose guns floating around this little town.

With metal 3D printers, soon guns factories can be set up anywhere.

Just like drugs, laws won't stop guns.

You seem relatively naive on this topic.
LOL, hand tool? did you even watch your own video? The film showed them using a Takisawa tooling machine for borrowing the gun barrels. A new one of those costs somewhere between 15 to 150 thousand and the number of companies that make machines like that are really limited. This is as rudimentary as it gets and they still need loads of large machining tools, lots of good quality metal, electricity, a water supply, a large warehouse and an army of workers.

Shooting people has long been illegal.
