I dk the Antifa reference but both my spouse and I noticed the hints the MSM were blandly dropping on the late news tonight about the potential for Paddock being radicalized. This after hollering there's no chance of ISIS being involved. I wonder what they're paving the way for...maybe that note on the table?

Everything had the feel of a radicalized terrorist attack except for the shooter being a white American male. Not surprised to see that may be the case, a lone wolf becoming radicalized by the woman companion or through online. Sick guy and these are the hardest to prevent since he wasn't on any watch lists. Hopefully the authorities find out the motive

Reports tonight that he had hundreds of suspicious cash transactions over $10,000. Many to the Philippines.

I read that Mandalay lost a billion in market cap in one day. I bet the Feds are looking for the big short. I would hate to be the guy who shorted their stock.

Oh the government is involved. Yeah, that restores my confidence.

It only dropped from 32 to 30. Hardly the big short opportunity

Look I don't have much faith that the government can accomplish much through legislation, but its not like this go fund me is being hosted by Joe Schmoe who has no idea what they are doing and no connection to the community. I'm sure there are plenty of rules, regulations, and safeguards in place that he is aware of as being an elected official that will ensure the money is appropriated in a way that is reasonable and helpful to as many as possible.

So I'm listening to the police scanner recording and now understand why they shut down the airport. People running from the shooter were running across the runways. Someone twenty minutes in suggests they shut off the lights. I wonder if doing that earlier would have made a difference. They even had to tell officers to lock police car doors because people were trying to grab shotguns. Were they going to try to shoot back?

The video / comment being referenced is at the link below. If the video is legit (hard to say since anything can be edited or taken out of original context) then this is the speculation from a pretty legit authority that clearly isn't infowars, but actual law enforcement.

What a hellish scene. The definition of madness and chaos.

Great. So we have two unworkable solutions - one involving heavily-armed cops literally everywhere and the other involving large social gathering only occurring in the absence of man-made structures. But no solution that says it's maybe a bad idea to make it easy for any guy to own 60 assault rifles that can be converted easily enough to automatic fire?
