You just described a perfect parallel to your gun argument.

Taking guns away from lawful Americans is far more difficult than people like to casually claim.

Also, it's a really stupid argument because we can just turn around and say "No, you can't have them".

Democrats don't want laws on the book to be obeyed which is most of the issue!

First off, the illegal guns that come into Canada come from the US. Canada has a stake in this.

You take care of your own countries problems. We don't need foreigners telling us how to take care of ours.

I didn't claim it would be easy, I said it was possible.

That doesn't make any sense when applied to guns.

Typical liberal response. Let's abide by the parts of the Constitution we modern day thinkers believe to be good, but get rid of the parts we don't like.

Needless to say, if an enemy from within (good examples would be Black Bloc/Antifa types) ever tried to overthrow the government or came to power, without regular citizens ability to own firearms, there would be no way to protect our constitutional republic.
The 2nd amendment is #2 for a reason, because without it, #1 and all the rest are just words on paper. Only our God given right to self determination and freedom can be protected from tyranny, by an armed citizenry.

These are basic tenants, but lost on emotion based thinking, and subversive efforts to undermine our founding principles.

It does when our country's Constitution says "shall not be infringed". Your imagined scenario of repeal is so laughable I just brushed it off.

Also it's a really childish argument, telling someone to move. So I just double-down on your childishness and say, "No, YOU move."
It was facetious. Your "solution" was childish and uninformed due to emotional outrage. I understand the desire to go there but it is not feasible and is definitely not freedom.

You'd better start reading and studying the Constitution. That wasn't the way this country was created by our Framers, and we need to take control of it back. The only way we can do that is by educating ourselves and then getting rid of the people in Washington that refuse to follow the Constitution. Over half of them think that the Supreme Court is more powerful than they are. They're wrong. The Legislative Branch was given the most power.

Most of them believe Roe v. Wade is "the law of the land." It isn't. The Supreme Court cannot make law. Roe v. Wade was an opinion. Ask any lawyer. Courts don't make rulings. They issue opinions. Opinions are not law. There has never been a law passed that legalizes abortion.

The Supreme Court has even gone so far as to decide for itself the limits of it's own authority, and also the limits of the authority of the other Branches. But the Supreme Court is a Branch of the Federal Government, and it's authority is what the Constitution says it is, not what the Court says it is.

That's how far we have deviated from the Constitution. That's how corrupt the Federal Government has become. It is the duty of the States to reign in the Federal Government. It was the States, through the Constitution (a Contract between the States), that created the Federal Government. The Federal Government has no power other than that which was delegated to it by the States, which is described as "limited and defined."
