I often disagree with Mr. Will but I respect his talent as a writer and a critical thinker. I bet he would be an entertaining dinner companion.
There is no disputing his intellect, which stands in stark contrast to Trump and many of his supporters. I understand why Republicans rejected the other GOP candidates and I understand why they rejected Hillary. I know how we got here. George Will wrote a column recently about liberals in NYC who were consumed with guilt over their superior schools versus other nearby, less affluent schools. Absolutely hilarious, wish I had a link to it. The man has a sense of humor, although he doesn't seem to when you listen to him speak.
George Will is brilliant. His writing is amongst the most witty and informative of any opinion columnist out there. While I'm not a fan of his, based largely on his climate change denialism, I have to give credit to his political commentary and journalism, which I find of the highest order.
This morning he said on Morning Joe that Trump's wince inducing trip to Puerto Rico was best described as trying to describe the color turquoise to blind man, in reference to his utter lack of empathy and a shocking inability to bring comfort to an island of millions of people, over 90% of which do not have electricity.
This is like claiming a wolf is brilliant for their views on a lamb.
I'm not the "snowflake here." That's YOU. Your side lost, and you can't stand it. Get over it, snowflake.
I'm not running on here crying every time someone says something mean about the candidate I voted for. "Wah! George Will is a stupid meanie! Wah! The MSM isn't fair! Wah! Democrats won't support Trump's agenda!"
Whine and cry. That's all you Trumpsters do.
