And btw, what exactly is the motive for the the CIA to kill 58 innocent people?
I never said the CIA was involved in this particular attack, but nonetheless, there is plenty of motive, an attempt to further change public opinion on guns, cant get any more clear than that, the more of these attacks happen, the more people slowly change their beliefs and give in to popular sentiment, 'maybe we should give up our gun rights for everyones safety'.
These attacks will keep happening and eventually the tide will be turned, eventually they will 'condition' enough people so new laws are passed, but more importantly the people will actually accept laws being created, its all about changing public opinion.
I guess I should really not be surprised at how many people are duped by this, govt conditioning over the years has been very very effective, this is an art form in itself.
Conspiracy theories are popular because they are a way for dumb people to feel smart. Like they get something that the 'sheeple' do not.
Actually...the ability to analyze evidence from a different perspective is a sign of strong critical thinking skills. Those who resort to name calling in a disagreement are the ones who lack critical thinking skills as they have no other reasonable evidence to back their claim.

Lol, too bad there isn't a mic drop emogi
I can't buy into all the tin foil had theories in this latest shooting, the only thing I am finding tough to believe is that he did this on his own. I thought the same in the FL night club shooting and was wrong, and will probably be wrong on this one as well.
Politicizing this tragedy is shameful and IMO is an example of how morally bankrupt the right have become in their zeal to pin this lone madman's actions on the left.

You seem to misunderstand the difference between someone who 'analyzes evidence from a different perspective' and a conspiracy theorist, much less someone who subscribes to conspiracy theories without question to the dismissal of any other explanation for an event.
A conspiracy theorist deliberately excludes existing evidence and verifiable facts in favor of "theories" that are supported, in part or in whole, on wild suppositions, implausibilities, or just plain false information (or deliberately misinterpreted information). Often the theorists do so because it is a fun or interesting take on a phenomenon. And there is nothing wrong with that.
But those who unquestionably subscribe to those theories, and deny more plausible, fact based hypotheses out of hand in favor of conspiracy theories, need to check their heads.

Agreed, it makes them feel empowered and gives them a sense of control. They get to feel like they are part of a group of "select" people who have uncovered something.
What makes it so funny, is they don't do real research and have some deep insight, instead they "find" the so called conspiracies on websites that have dozens of different conspiracies all laid out side by side, and "discovered" in a smooth weekly or daily timeline that keeps web traffic high.

No where in my speculated theory mentions the left. There are people on the right who were anti gun before this... those conservatives do exist.
Mine addressed a far bigger idea. Given the suppressor bill and share act bill were up for votes.
And a far more sinister idea for forfeiture of liberty for security and someone profiting from it. Coincidence the bills proposed for vote the same week of the shooting?
Hmm... the same companies that developed X ray scanners, and body scanners for TSA...
highly unlikely that casinos/hotels will start implementing TSA style checks at entrances. my guess is if we revisit this thread in a few months there will be absolutely zero x-ray/body scanners at any las vegas casino.

.... security contractor companies to hire guards to provide protection.
there are dozens of private security companies operating in las vegas. do you think it was just one that did the killing in hopes they'd receive more work or that it was a conspiracy among all the local security firms?

Other technology and security systems companies to develop surveillance systems-hardware and software.
las vegas has always sought out the latest in tech surveillance. no need to create a demand where one already exists.
